Molybdenum
Our 12th nutrient mineral (in alphabetical
order). Molybdenum is a trace element. Chemical
symbol: Mb. Molybdenum is a vital part of
the enzyme which is responsible for the
utilization of iron in our bodies. Molybdenum
may also have antioxidant properties. Recent
studies indicate that it is necessary for
optimum health. Known to provide a feeling
of well-being.

Deficiency Symptoms

Nutrient Destroyers
High intake of copper or sulphate, can
impede the absorption of molybdenum and
increase its excretion.

Toxicity
Toxic in doses higher than 10-15mg (milligram),
which causes gout-like symptoms.
